This is a Learn Local course for women.
The course is an introductory overview of leadership principles, exploring the evolution of leadership theory and examining the importance of leading self and others.
This course aims to bring together women who are interested in understanding more about ‘leadership at any level’ and sharing experiences with other like-minded women in a collaborative learning environment.
Who is it for?
This course is designed for women who are interested in further developing personal and professional leadership skills, experiencing or considering change in their workplace, exploring alternative career pathways or just keen to discover and learn something new.
The course incorporates topics such as positive leadership, mindfulness, self-awareness, confidence, communication and personal strengths.
About the Facilitator
This course will be facilitated by Suiyin Cheah, who has more than 20 years’ experience in strategic, operational and business management roles across the professional services, commercial and not-for-profit sectors. Inspired by her past experiences and natural curiosity, Suiyin has a keen interest in exploring contemporary concepts of leadership, sharing and discovering new ideas and supporting others to develop and grow.
