Yoga Philosophy Book Circle
When: Third Tuesday of each month, starting 18th May from 7pm to 8pm
Where: Studio 1 Community Hub (15 Barnet Way, Richmond 3121)
Cost: $10 per session
About the program:
Yoga offers us a guide on how to live a healthy life full of joyful purpose. It encompasses physical, mental and spiritual practices to help with emotional fluctuations and mental turbulence.
The Yoga poses, Asana, are only one part of the complete yoga practice, which consists of 8 limbs Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi.
These concepts create a set of principles that allow each of us to co-exist and grow in healthy dynamic ways.
If you are keen to learn more about this philosophy and how to apply them to your life in practical ways, join Trace for a monthly Book Circle where we will study Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras over a cup of tea.
This Book Circle offers an opening and welcoming forum for an interactive community discussion about how this ancient wisdom can help with your life experiences.
Trace will supply brief study notes to prompt open and supportive discussion and will provide suggested resources for additional reading. Trace has experience in facilitating community discussion groups and also corporate workshops.
